At the ECIC, KG students follow a bilingual learning environment ensuring 50% of subjects in English and 50% in French. Enabling students to develop language skills in both English and French. KG curriculum emphasizes on developing students skills through purposeful play giving them the opportunity to discover, apply and acquire new life skills that would meet their social, physical, intellectual and cultural needs. “Children at play are highly motivated and capable of intense concentration”. Alberta Kindergarten Statement, 2008. Creativity is one of the most skills to develop in KG level in order to enable students to develop their critical thinking and ways of learning.
